
Sankeetha is a civil transactional attorney with an emphasis on general business law and mergers and acquisitions. Many of Sankeetha’s clients include companies within the cannabis, technology, real estate, food service, and e-commerce sectors, manufacturers, and retailers. Currently, Sankeetha provides outside general corporate counsel services to over 200 companies with legal services from incorporation to mergers and dissolutions.
Sankeetha is a frequent speaker and writer on corporate formation, business growth and risk management topics. She has served as a panelist/speaker for the American Bar Association, Capital One, WeWork, General Assembly, Women in Tech East Coast, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Lawyers Weekly, Real Estate Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, and other community organizations. She is a frequent lecturer at the Center for Women and Enterprise where she teaches new and current entrepreneurs, Contract Basics, Legal Considerations for New Business, Non-Profits and Benefit Corporations.
As an active American Bar Association member, she was previously the Chair of the Corporate Counsel Committee of the ABA General Practice /Solo Section and ABA Business Law Today Editor, and the past Vice-Chair of the ABA YLD Business Law Committee. Currently, she is GP/Solo Diversity Board Member 2018-2020. She was also the GP/Solo and the Business Law Fellow for the American Bar Association and a New York State Bar Association YLD Delegate to the American Bar Association.
Recently, Sankeetha has also been named as Top 100 Attorneys of 2020 by Top 100 Magazine and is a proud ABA Fellow with the American Bar Foundation. In 2016, she received the American Bar Association Top 40 under 40 On The Rise award and the 2015 National Law Journal’s 40 under 40 award.
