Susannah Griffee is Of Counsel to Warren Law Group

Susannah’s practice includes M&A, venture and private equity financings, and general corporate guidance for early-stage companies. She has represented private equity firms and their portfolio companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions and asset management matters, with experience in a variety of industries including tech, cryptocurrency, venture capital, digital media, edtech, climate, and healthcare. Susannah uses her combined corporate experience to identify creative and multidisciplinary solutions to unique problems.

During her career, Susannah has managed deal teams across specialist groups in over 30 private equity deals ranging from $100M to over $1B in deal size, coordinated cross-border lenders in a variety of private equity financings, and conducted due diligence on wide-ranging target companies including one of the world’s leading metal production companies, one of the earliest health-tech companies to finalize a SPAC, and a leading international edtech company. Susannah’s asset management experience includes analyzing fund-of-funds investments for leading asset managers, negotiating side letters and handling investor communications for large venture capital firms, and helping to form various funds, including one of the first private funds focused on crypto.

In addition to her legal practice, Susannah advises early-stage tech companies and serves as a mentor at the Polsky Center, the University of Chicago’s tech incubator. She is also an active artist in New York City, where she exhibits her paintings and curates group shows.
