Superintendent of Oregon School Sues School District

Oscar Moreno Gilson, The Superintendent of the Woodburn School District in Oregon, was placed on administrative leave In January — he “intends to sue the district for claims including breach of contract, retaliation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress,” claiming he was “targeted and retaliated against for attempting to institute a culture of accountability.” Moreno Gilson’s contract does not expire until June 2023.

While state and federal governments prosecute these violations in court, it is the responsibility of the harmed parties to sue separately for damages. If you have been affected by a breach of contract, or are unable to meet contractual obligations, speak to an attorney who is familiar with the complexities of bringing on a successful breach of contract lawsuit.
